He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Sauers and Hattie Sauers (Olender); his wife Mildred Charlene Miller; his daughter Pamela Omler; and his brothers, Leo Sauers and Charles Sauers.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Naghshineh (Jahan) and Randy Miller (Melissa); his sisters, Irene Kunasz (John), Patty Teal (Donald), Evelyn Morris (Frank) and Teresa Nylos (Richard); his son-in-law Tom Omler; and his sister-in-law Judy Sauers.
