He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster McNeil and Dallas "Mert" McNeil (Adkins); his children, Gary F. McNeil Jr., Matthew T. McNeil and Brandie S. McNeil; his grandson Richard "Chopper" McNeil Jr.; and his brother Lawrence McNeil.
He is survived by: his children, Richard McNeil (Marie), Brian McNeil (Lori), Michael McNeil (Missy), Jason McNeil (Donna) and Kristie Boring; and his stepsons, Derrek Leach and Dustyn Leach. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.
