He was predeceased by: his parents, Quentin "Barny" Bauerschmidt and Dolores Bauerschmidt (Skibinski). He is survived by: his wife Louise Bauerschmidt (DeSloover); his daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Hagemann (Bob Hagemann III) of Washington, D. C.; his granddaughters, Evalyn and Vivian; his son Paul Bauerschmidt (Lauren) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Mark and Elise; his namesake Evan Gerald Bauerschmidt; and his brothers, Robert, Mike Bauerschmidt and Kenny.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe (108 Washington St, Monroe, MI 48161).
