With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald W. Thomas of Monroe, Michigan, born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Thomas and Mary Thomas (Maiden); and his siblings, Charles, James and Betty Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Blonza Thomas of Monroe; his children, Rhonda Ferguson (Eric) of Ida, Reneé Thomas of Monroe, Jerry Thomas (Marjorie) of Monroe and Jennifer Smith (Mike) of Holland, MI; and his brothers, Ronald Thomas of Monroe and Kenneth Thomas of Monroe. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Wings of Eagles or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
