He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens Gruber and Viola Gruber (Grueschow); and his siblings, Nancy Henderson (Bill), Gary and Bill Gruber.
He is survived by: his children, Marie (Holly Gruber) and Joshua Gruber of Rockwood, MI; his siblings, Richard Gruber of Toledo, OH and Susan Gruber of Monroe; his sister-in-law Diane Gruber of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Dustin, Ciara, Allison, Austin, Lucas, Wilhelmina and Brayden.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
