He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Trouten; his children, Craig Sauer of Monroe, Troy Straub (Renee) of Peoria, Arizona, Lisanne Buchko (David) of Monroe and Kristine Walker (Josh) of Monroe; his brother Norman Sauer (Terry); his grandchildren, McKenzie (Riley), Alexandra (Joe), Ashley, Nicholas, Evan (Jenna), Andrew, Benjamin, Olivia and Julianna; and his great grandchild Teddy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harold's honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
