He was predeceased by : his former life partner Verna Pelton; his wife Paula Alexander; his siblings, Fredrick, Francis, Charles Holton, Doris Holton and Shirley Rennie; and his grandson Daniel Holton.
He is survived by : his children, Joseph Swisher, Tammy Hensley (late Michael) and John Holton (Karen); his stepson Christopher Alexander (Cindy); his sisters, Mary Frick and Betty Farr; and his half-sister Evelyn Huffman. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
