As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Iris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Schroeder and Odelia Schroeder (Miller); and her siblings, Arnold Schroeder and Eunice Miller. She is survived by: her cousins, Bill Neal (Shelby) and Marcella Mehki.
The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (127 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Monroe County of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
