James Kenneth Knapp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kenneth Knapp of Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Kenneth may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Knapp and Velma Knapp (Call). He is survived by: his children, James Melvin Knapp and Karol Kay Knapp; his sister Scarlett Boylan (Kenneth); his granddaughter Katilyn Minney (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Aiden Yoakum and Ashton Minney.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (1320 N Macomb St, Monroe, MI 48162).
