It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Phoenix of Monroe, Michigan, born in Findlay, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife JaneAlice Venzke; and his dachshund Duchess. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Lee Braden and Eva Joshua; his grandchildren, Adrienne Ault (Gabe), Tate Beumel, Ashley Barron (Derek), Faith Harris, Brooke Harris, Jordany Vega, Yadira Vega, Jaden Vega and Alexis Joshua; his great grandchildren, Dawson Ault, Aubree Ault, Kora Barron and Atticus Scott; and his close friends, Kevin, Pat Hemry and Hemry.

Donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Monroe County Humane Society.
