With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Wilhelm of Monroe, Michigan, born in Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Wilhelm to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Wilhelm and Hilda Wilhelm (Okuley); his former spouse LuMelda Ann Baumia; his wife Betty Aloisi; and his sister Mary Katherine Plotts.

He is survived by: his children, Andrea Hil (Paul) of Monroe, Brian Wilhelm (Diane) of Monroe, Terri Schreur of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Beth Mexico (Dan) of Temperance. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-daughters; one step-son; and numerous step-grandchildren.
