He was predeceased by: his great-niece Kennedy Mayes. He is survived by: his sister Marcella Smith (James) of Monroe, Michigan; his sibling's children, Kristy Smith of Monroe, Ryan Smith (Andreanna) of Monroe, Tyler Smith of Lincoln Park and Mallorie Smith of Monroe; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gaetano Paolino (Krista), Mariah Smith, Brody Smith, Hannah Smith, Korbin Smith and Kingsley MacLean.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Filipek Family to assist with funeral arrangements.
