He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hehl and Elaine Hehl (LaBeau); his sister Joylane; and his father-in-law Carl Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Gwen M. Griffin; his daughters, Stacey M. Frye (Andrew) of Newport, Jennifer R. Laurin (Brian) of Milan and Kristi M. Carr (John) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Jacob, Addisyn, Ashton, Logan, Alex and Presley; his mother-in-law Mary Griffin of Monroe; and his siblings, Joseph Hehl (Betsy) of Clarkston and Jan Boden (Bob) of Tecumseh. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
