JoAnn Muir Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Muir of Monroe, Michigan, born in Powell, Tennessee, who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe DeFord and Alta DeFord (Moore); her stepfather Reaford Parker; her sister Vivian Jones; and her grandsons, Austin and Clayton Muir.

She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Gregory K. Muir (Jennifer) of Ida and Lisa A. Muir of Adrian; her brothers, Roy Dean Parker of Monroe and James R. Parker (Deanna) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Brooke Cox (Shawn), Bailey Osborne (Deonte Patterson), Brianna Osborne, Tayler Jacob, Kayla Muir, Ava Muir, Kennan Muir and Hanna Muir (Evan Bolster); and her great grandchildren, Shawn, Bryce and Malani.
