He is survived by: his wife Rosaline Lesniewicz of Monroe; his children, John Gabriel (Kim) of Brooklyn, Andrew Gabriel (Stephanie) of Dundee, Lorna Tucker (Bill) of Monroe, Patrick Gabriel (Robin) of Carleton and Anthony Gabriel (Amy) of Maybee; his siblings, Edward Gabriel of Shepard and Lucille Bin (Edward) of Farmington, Michigan; and his pet Kody. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
