He is survived by: his pets, Midnite, Papi, Chihuahua and Rocco; his wife Anita Ornelas Mendoza LaVanway of Monroe; his mother Beverly LaVanway of Bangor; his children, Luke Mathieu Mendoza LaVanway of Monroe, Jon-Marc Mendoza LaVanway of Monroe and Hannah Aureliane Mendoza LaVanway of Monroe; and his siblings, Sheri Mohmand (Kadir) of Kalamazoo and Robert LaVanway of Bangor.
