He is survived by: his children, Chad Pelkey (Katie) of Carleton, Michigan and Sara Pelkey of Newport, Michigan; his siblings, Cheryl Withrow of Monroe, Kenneth Pelkey of South Carolina and Gary Pelkey of North Carolina; his grandsons, Ryan and Lucas Pelkey of Carleton; and his former wife Pamela McLachlin Pelkey.
