He is survived by: his siblings, Joe, Shirley Saum, Norma Lee Thomas and Dorothy LaPrad (Robert); his wife MaryAnn Hess; his children, Clement Hess (Sandra) and Jo Ann Spicer (Bryan); his son-in-law Richard Schindler; his grandchildren, Nicole Vollweiler (Brock), Amanda Griffith (Steven), Shawna Newsome (Douglas), Joseph Hess (Kristy), Nicholas, Samantha and Sydney Spicer; and his great grandchildren, Reese, Zoey Vollweiler, Ben, Will, Abby Griffith, Emma, AnnaBella Newsome and Troy Hess.
