It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Ballantyne of Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel McNew and Joyce McNew (Curley); and her husband Thomas "Scottie" Ballantyne. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Cook, Thomas Hindbaugh, Michael Hindbaugh and Anne Ballantyne; and her siblings, Marcia Ashley, Scott McNew (Ardith) and Dave McNew (Kristina).
