It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy D. Mathus of Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, James Estep and Juanita Estep (Jenkins); and her sisters, Patricia Shanteau and Kay Lynch. She is survived by : her husband Robert L. Mathus; her children, Eugene Mathus (Shirley) of Monroe, Robert Mathus (Deborah Shaul) of Monroe and Dianna Redman of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Tori Craft, Lindsey Mathus, Emily Mills, Ian Redman and Tiffany Mathus. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are encouraged to the SSIHM Motherhouse in lieu of flowers.
