She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Hill and Juanita Hill (Stanifer); her brother Donald L. Hill; her husband John F. Garrett; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Harmon.

She is survived by: her close friend Jerry Dennis of Ocala, FL; her sons, Michael Harmon (Abramoski) of Dayton, OH and Edward Abramoski (Mary Beth) of Canton, MI.; her grandchildren, Corey Abramoski of Monroe, MI, Christopher Abramoski (Maddie) of Savannah, GA, Alyssa Graf (Paul) of Dearborn, MI, Kathryn Hughesdon (Paul) of Canton, MI and Joseph Abramoski of Canton, MI.; and her great grandchildren, Madeleine Graf, Clara Hughesdon and Callahan Abramoski.
