She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy VanWashenova and Catherine "Cate" VanWashenova (Jondro); her son Timothy Dicks; and her brothers, Edward VanWashenova (Myrtle) and Dale VanWashenova.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Dicks (Raquel) of Manitou Beach, Sherry Venier (Greg Saul) of Newport and Dennis Dicks (DePriest Dockins) of Ypsilanti; her daughter-in-law Tara Bunker of Monroe; her siblings, Marilyn Calkins of Wyandotte, Lisa Scow of Nebraska, Charles VanWashenova (Jayne) of Newport and Larry VanWashenova of Newport; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Zachary, Jacob, Olivia, Alex, Jeff Jr., Timothy Jr. "T. J." and Vance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor are suggested to Ribbons of Monroe.
