He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grassley and Marcella Grassley (Wood); and his siblings, Florence Minnie Grassley, Henry and Herbert Grassley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Kolver (Krug); his children, Charles Grassley (Carla) of Commerce Township, William Grassley of Ida, Audra Spaulding of Taneytown, Rebecca Smith (Bryan) of Wyandotte and Michael Kolver of Kansas, Ohio; his grandchildren, Alexa, David, Dylan, Jacob, Ethan, Kendra and Ava; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Jackson and Elsie.
