He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper J. Wallace and Bessie Wallace (Turner); and his siblings, George Wallace, Malcolm Pierce, Mary Lou Newsome and Patricia Kaay Wallace.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Wallace of Monroe; his daughters, Elizabeth Jospeh (Charles) of Monroe and Stephanie Lou Wallace (Jeremy Fowler) of Monroe; his brother William "Bill" Pierce (Sandy) of Middlesboro, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Samantha Devine (Robert), Angel Richards and Matthew Richards; and his great grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Bethany Devine.
