He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Merritt and Dorothy Merritt (Smith); and his brother Keith Merritt. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Neun; his grandchildren, Josie Paschal (Andrew), Jon Neun and Valerie Neun (Dominic Martin); and his siblings, Mark Merritt, Gerald Merritt (Linda) and Carole Caldwell (Tom).
