With sadness, we share the passing of Lawrence E. Deaton (Monroe, Michigan). Lawrence, born on June 2, 1939 in Weeksbury, Kentucky, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Lawrence for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Deaton and Lillie Deaton (Hamby); his wife Carol Deaton (Tolbert); his children, Jennifer Lancaster (Deaton) and Gary Deaton; and his siblings, Harold Deaton and Carolyn Branham (Jack).
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Revels (Brian); his brothers, Gordon Deaton (Nancy) and Harvey Deaton; and his grandchildren, Heidi Berridge (Ryan) and Kevin Revels (Allison). He is also survived by five great-granddaughters; and many extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
