She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas and Melvene Margaret Hill (Boshnakian); and her brother-in-law Carl Sangetta. She is survived by: her children, Madeline Lark (Will Taylor) of Monroe and Joseph Lark II (Eden Zaleski) of Newport; her siblings, Natalie Hill (Greg Lammie) of LaSalle, Emilie Hill Sangetta of Santa Clara, California and Rod Hill (Janet) of Lambertville; her half-sister Patti Kolesar Stoltz (Rick) of Nekoosa, Wisconsin; her nephew Evan Sangetta of George Hill, II; her niece Margaret Hill; and her pet Finn.

Memorials are suggested to the ALS Foundation of Michigan.
