With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucila Zulema Mendoza of Monroe, Michigan, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 29, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Jasso and Maria Jasso (Ortiz); and her siblings, Leonedezs Jasso and Angelina Ortiz. She is survived by: her children, Carlos Mendoza, Jr. (Denise) of Monroe, Cynthia Ford (Gary) of Grand Rapids, MI, Cecilia Mendoza of LaSalle, MI, Celia Chipps (Roy) of Monroe, Cipriano Mendoza of Monroe, Carla Bussell (Nick) of Monroe and Cristoval Mendoza (Amanda) of Monroe. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the church to support their charitable work programs.
