She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Heck and Lois Heck (Ehnis). She is survived by: her children, Kevin Arend, Lois Arend (Scott Anthony), Patricia Hollister (Paul) and Michael Arend (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Jessica Arend, Kristin Arend, Bradley Hollister (Renee) and Angela Cawley (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Ryker, Carolann, Evelyn, Waylon, Beau, Bruce, Naomi, Ivy and Ella. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (225 E Elm Ave, Monroe, MI 48162). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Lucille are suggested to Friends of Nurses Health Steady at bwhgiving.org/nhs, St. Paul Lutheran Church Historic Building Fund or to Christ Lutheran Church, both of Monroe.
