Luzella M. Escamilla Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luzella M. Escamilla (Monroe, Michigan), born in Harlan, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2026 at the age of 83. In the sacred silence of farewell, Luzella is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Luzella's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Ruth Snyder of Tennessee, Myrtle Emerton of Tennessee and Susie Wylie of Monroe. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Ellison (Joe Martin) of Monroe, Jack Cacioppo of Monroe, Anna Hoffman (Paul) of Monroe and Edward Escamilla (Tina) of Chicago, Illinois; and her siblings, Betty Gregg (Dave) of Dundee and James Ayers of Tennessee. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
