It is with sadness that the passing of Lyllus J. McHargue of Monroe, Michigan is shared. Lyllus, born on November 6, 1929, passed away on October 7, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lyllus J. McHargue to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Whited and Maggie Whited; her husband Luke; her son Larry McHargue; her grandson Stephen McHargue; her son-in-law Mike Bleyaert; and her siblings, Vaughn, Alvin, Don Whited, Sybil Whited and Lorene Mutch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynda Bleyaert of Monroe, Michigan and Lori Walker (Dave) of Monroe, Michigan; her daughter-in-law Stephanie McHargue of North Ridge, Ohio; her grandchildren, Amy Phillips (Chad), Lisa Pursell (Adam), Kara Walker and Loren McHargue; her granddaughter-in-law Rebekah McHargue; and her great grandchildren, Cohen, Micah, Aliya Phillips, Bryan, Owen, Connor, Liam, Noah, Sarah-Grace McHargue, Henry and Juliet Pursell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Along with flowers, donations can be made to the Monroe Alliance Church in Monroe, Michigan, Gabby's Grief Center in Monroe, Michigan or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
