It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Howerton of Monroe, Michigan, born in Jasper, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert DeClercq and Maria DeClercq (Simaeys); her husband Ernest Howerton; and her siblings, Joseph DeClercq and Virginia Jaworski.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Dykstra, Joyce Kipf-Trowbridge (Bob), Ernest Howerton, Howie Mullis (Stevie) and Betty Knapp (Louie); her brother George DeClercq; and her grandchildren, Kevin DiSabatino, Tammy DiSabatino, Eric DiSabatino, Darin DiSabatino, Scott Kipf, Mark Kipf, Max Fowler, John Fowler, Danielle Pearch, Ernest Howerton III and Sarah Nasser. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
