It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Carr of Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Carr to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Giznsky and Louella Giznsky (LaVigne); her spouse Harshey Van Carr; her siblings, Bill Giznsky, Andy Giznsky and Betty Bauer; her sons-in-law, Dan VanDevelde and Ken Johnson; her grandson-in-law Paul Nuznov; her grandsons, Bryan VanDevelde and Justin Marshall; and her great grandchild Lennon Vandevelde.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Ann, Vanessa VanDevelde, Tammy Johnson, Holly and Donise Yard; her grandchildren, Mark V. Dahl (Tina), Dan VanDevelde, Carly Dahl (Dustyn Bork), Kelsey Nuznov (Marshall), Amanda Hafner (VanDevelde) and Matthew Marshall (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Danielle, Alexis, Corey, Layne, McKenzie, Destiny, Hunter, Aria, Lily, Daisy and Nora.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
