Mary Etta Goins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Etta Goins (Monroe, Michigan), born in Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Brooks and Gracie Brooks (Gulley); her husband Franklin D. Goins; and her siblings, Clarence Elmer Brooks and Blanche Earl.

She is survived by: her children, Wilma Sortor of LaSalle and Timothy Goins (Kari) of LaSalle; her brother Wintford Brooks of Monroe; her grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Amanda, Wyatt and Sierra; her great grandchildren, Ravyn, Robert, Rebecca, Lillyen, Jace and Morgan; and her great great grandchildren, Asher and Arya.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
