Mary Louise (Cardwell) Buckingham Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 10, 2022, at the age of 98, Mary Louise (Cardwell) Buckingham of Monroe, Michigan, born in Friendsville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer M. Simerly and Annas Pearl Simerly (Hackney); her former husband Woodrow W. Cardwell; her husband Kenneth P. Buckingham; her daughter-in-law Sandra Cardwell; her stepson Kenneth Buckingham; her sisters, Virginia Rogers and Frances Cardwell; her grandsons, Mark, Matthew and Todd; and her great grandchildren, Brandon and Brent.

She is survived by: her son Kenneth E. Cardwell of Monroe; her stepchildren, Larry Buckingham (Lenora) of Carleton, Francine Herzog and Yvonne Chance (Jon) of Maybee; and her granddaughters, Traci Cardwell and Trisha Burgess (Robert). She is also survived by nine step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
