She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Godfried and Mary Godfried (Vajdak); her husband John Hayter Sr.; her sister Arlene Downey; and her grandson Jacob Hayter.
She is survived by: her children, John Hayter Jr. (Wenying) of Canton, Craig Hayter (Jill) of Temperance, Casandra Gilliam (Jeffery) of Monroe and Mathew Hayter (Maryann) of St. Louis, MO.; her grandchildren, Jinting Hayter, Jayden Hayter, Jocelyn Hayter, Craig Hayter (Julie), Justin Hayter (Beth), Ryliegh Gilliam, Marisa Gilliam, Garrett Gilliam (Allison), Benjamin Hayter (Elizabeth) and Sabrina Kettner (Keith); and her great grandchildren, James, Anna, Brendan, Krista, Aurora (Sara Hall), Abel, Zoe, Aletheia, Sophia and Lazarus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
