He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McLaughlin and Dorothy McLaughlin Sr. (Houthoofd); his son Patrick; and his sister Dororthy McLaughlin. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Erin and Kathleen; his wife Rita Karen McLaughlin of Monroe, Michigan; and his children, Erin Copi of Monroe, Kathleen Turner (Ron) of Carleton, Michigan, John McLaughlin (Lisa) of Monroe, Michigan. and Daniel McLaughlin (Lisa) of Monroe, Michigan.. He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
