He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Garrett and Elaine Garrett (Knocks). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Ted Garrett (Suzanne) and Laura Schmitt (Nate); his grandchildren, Kylie, Collin, Ellena, Cameron and Evan; his sisters, Linda Zachel and Tammy Shoup (Bob); and his stepsons, Ryan and Nate Zatolokin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Mary Parish, Monroe.
