It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred A. Dykes of Monroe, Michigan, born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Bert Stevens; her husband Bueford Dykes; and her brother Richard Cornell. She is survived by : her mother Clara Stevens (Cornell); her children, Christine Smith (JC), Eileen Thomas, Richard Dykes, Vicki Mazur (Stephen), Brad Dykes, Cheryl St (Thomas), Robert Dykes (Kathy Young) and Joyce DeSloover (Joseph); her grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Shawna Ingram (Nick), James Hammermaster (Beth), Larry Hammermaster, Kaitlyn Dykes, Jamie Dykes, Michael Fuher (Melissa), Christie Blevins (Matt Vodry), Nicholas Blevins, Joseph DeSloover III, Christine DeSloover (Brian) and Andrew DeSloover; and her daughter Marleen Dykes. She is also survived by mom ever to her kids.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
