He was predeceased by: his parents, Faizan Ahmed Ansari and Jameela Begum; and his wife Misbah Malik. He is survived by: his children, Omar, Faraz, Nida, Zaina, Asma (Maryann) and Taha (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Amani, Mekail, Zain, Thayer, Musa, Mika and Ramy. He is also survived by brother to his three sisters.
