Naomi Braden Obituary
We bid farewell to Naomi Braden (Monroe, Michigan), born in Melvin, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Naomi touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Cole and Sarah Jane Cole (Caudill); her stepmother Martha; her husband Don Braden; her siblings, Leonard Cole, Estill Cole, Tackett of Arizona, Vada Tackett, Ada Thornsberry, Justeen Bentley and Ladie Cole; and her half-siblings, Andy Cole, Delphia Cole, Lonie Cole and Londy Cole.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Cooley (Harold) of Chelsea and Timothy K. Braden of Monroe; her grandsons, Christopher L. Cooley (Jacquelyn Farquhar) of Fort Collins and Zachary A. Cooley of Toledo, Ohio; and her brothers, Russell Cole (Mary) of South Portsmouth and William M. "Bo" Cole (Margaret) of Garrison, Kentucky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A procession was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the activities department at Fountain View of Monroe.
