He was predeceased by: his wife Jan Bert (Church); and his grandson Brandon Centa. He is survived by: his children, Lyric Hodgson (Don), Lori Centa and Michael Centa (Erin); his grandchildren, Zach, Regan, Hannah, Sam and Kate; and his sister Elisa Denja.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peter's honor to the SMCC Peter and Jan Centa Scholarship Fund.
