She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joanne Kaminski and Robert Scherer; and her son-in-law Paul Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Earl Sorter, Sr.; and her children, Robin Reeck (Thomas) of Luna Pier, Wendy Koekpe (Mike) of Houston, Richard Sortor, Jr. (Tammy) of Monroe, Kelly Greer-Haynes (Brad Haynes) of Luna Pier, Tracey Wilson of Skidway Lake, Rodney Sortor (Jennifer) of Temperance and Lance Sortor (Amy) of Dundee. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren and one canine companion.
