He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Arend and Marcella Arend (Rohrbacher); and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Heck of Monroe, MI.; his children, Kevin Arend, Lois Arend (Scott Anthony), Patricia Hollister (Paul) and Michael Arend (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Jessica Arend, Kristin Arend, Bradley Hollister (Renee) and Angela Cawley (Michael); Daniela Arend. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
