He is survived by: his friend Thomas Hunter; his caregiver Richie; his pet Stores; his mother Bonnie Swatek; his stepfather Gene Swatek; his brother Robert S. Eadie (Debra Wilkerson); his grandmother Barbara Dusseau; his aunt Caroline; his uncle Gary Hensley; his cousins, Chris Hensley (Autumn), Matt Hensley (Heather), Alyssa Manier (Daniel), Zoe, Megan Hensley, Isabella and Gabriella Hensley; and his sisters, Julie Sweetman (David), Joann Stewart (John), Barbara Swatek and Mary Swatek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). The lying in state was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (186 Cole Rd, Monroe, MI 48162). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
