He is survived by: his mother Joyce Sonak (Suydam); his wife Lynda Sonak; his children, Richard "Ricky" Sonak (Carrie), Daryl Sonak (Stacy) and Jessica Mae Long (Travis); his grandchildren, Austin Sonak, Hannah Sonak, Hunter Sonak, Annastacia Sonak and Paige Long; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Benore (Chelsea), Zachary Benore and Brittany Benore; his stepgreat-grandsons, Bennett Benore and Hudson Benore; his siblings, Linda Platz (Al), Colleen Polley (Frank), Kevin Sonak and Dan Sonak (Sue); his father-in-law Eulus Bussell; his siblings-in-law, Lora Butler and Henley "Carl" Bussell; and his friends, Bryan McDaniel, Don Boucher and Tony Abalos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
