It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. LaPointe (Monroe, Michigan), who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred LaPointe and Gertrude LaPointe (Gee); her brother Burton J. LaPointe; and her great-nephews, John Jr. and Michael LaPointe.
She is survived by: her nephew John LaPointe of Monroe; her niece Faith Ann Dudley (Mark) of Melbourne, Fla.; her great-nieces, Amity Karim (Michael) of Danville Ca, Jill Walling and Joy Leffler (Cliff) of Melbourne, Fla.; Kade, Arden, Karim of Danville, Charlotte LaPointe, Jaime, Michael Leffler of Melbourne, Fla. and Glee Taylor (John) of Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted by The Bed Race to Aid Children, Inc. at 108 Washington St.
