It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Vajcner (Monroe, Michigan), who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Vajcner Sr. and Marion Vajcner (VanWashnova); his brothers, Frank Jr., Thomas and Richard; and his grandchildren, John Taft IV and Kathryn Taft.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Shipp (Benjamin), Julianne Sitterly (Mark), Valerie Schnorberger (Thomas), Christina Taft (John) and Stephanie Thornton (David); his grandchildren, Lt. Colonel Marcus Sitterly (Michele), Brenden Shipp, Nick, Joe Schnorberger, Jackson, Sarah Taft, Isabella and Andrew Thornton; his great grandchildren, Rosy and Lily Sitterly; his wife Rosemary Meyer of Patrick's Church; and his siblings, Betty McLaughlin, James Vajcner (Faye), Gary Vajcner, Diane Vajcner, John Vajcner (Natasha), Patricia Morgan (James) and Linda Miles (Larry).
