He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. "Mitch" Turner and Julia Turner (Bressler); his wife Sheila Turner (Evans); and his brother Charlie Turner. He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Turner (Charles Kolenda) and Kristina O'Connell (Patrick); his grandchildren, Isaac Bugert, Ryleigh Bugert, Lucas Bugert, Gavin Turner, Michaela O'Connell and Aiden O'Connell; and his siblings, Benjamin Turner (Norma) of Monroe, Jeffrey Turner (Melissa) of Monroe, John Turner (Rhonda) of Monroe, Alice "Kate" Dorff of Dayton, Sandra Falls of Shalimar, Kimberly Krimm (Robert) of Harrisburg and Michelle Turner-Jennings of Monroe. He is also survived by his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (909 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162).
