She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Shackelford and Ottle Lee Shackelford (England); her husband Denny Freiberg; her son Michael Boyd Evans; her siblings, Glenda "Sue" Hall and Johnny Shackelford; and her former husband Carson Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Evans, Danny Joe Evans, Larry Evans (Barbara), Sharon Laurain (Andre) and Karen Spears; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Lynn Evans; and her grandchildren, Juston, Tara, Danny, Ashley, Cory, Misty, Kristy, Jamie, Alicia, Alyssa and Amber. She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
